FunWater 10’6 iSUP board is made of:

It has a drop stitch core and 1 pvc layer around that with a foam deck pad on top. The rails have a double layer PVC tape material connecting the top and bottom half of the PVC layer around the drop-stitch core together. A single-layer construction is not ideal, but for average sized paddlers casually wanting to enjoy the activity it’s close to ideal. It’s when a considerably larger paddler happens to use this board – the board might not support such weights very well and one might feel some flex, especially the more choppier the water.

1 – high pressure inflation valve
This is a strong and durable valve that keeps the air inside of the SUP without any possibilities to leak out. That’s very important on the water because the SUP is capable to keep the same level of firmness during long periods of time. The recommended PSI for FunWater 10’6 iSUP board is 15. If it leaks, either you’ve done something a little wrong or it’s just faulty in which case the support at FunWater should be there to help you out. It’s one way valve while using a pump to inflate and when you push it down and turn a little it will stay open for ease deflation. The valve closes by itself when you remove the hose when inflating, but there will be a very small burst of air that comes out for a little while. It may be defective if it goes on for too long.

2 – 6-point bungee storage system
The bungee storage system on this FunWater 10’6 iSUP board is positioned up at the front part of the stand-up paddleboard, and it allows you to store your things and items under it. That might include the tools from the package including, paddle, backpack with extra clothing, water, waterproof bag, etc.

3 – EVA foam deck pad
A non-slip EVA foam deck pad covering what’s basically half the board. This is where you can safely and comfortably stand on when paddling.

4 – center carry handle
Although the SUP board is super lightweight (17.6 lbs), it is long and big overall. You would be forced to release the air before trying to relocate it to some other place outside the water without a center carry handle. With the handle, you will have no such a problem, and you can easily carry the SUP board basically wherever you want even when inflated.

5 – D-ring (1)
D-ring is made of stainless steel that provides durability and firmness. This D-ring is generally used for attaching the ankle leash with the board, but also for towing or for anchoring the board.

6 – detachable fins (3)
The main reason behind making them all detachable is for ease of transportation. Coupled with the ultra light construction, rolling it up and putting it in the backpack without those pesky fins stuck to it saves room and your own energy. Though I can imagine a detachable bigger center fin would lose in quality like that.

What Else Is Included in the FunWater 10’6 iSUP Package?

The Funwater 10’6 Tiki Cruiser iSUP package contains an adjustable 3-piece aluminium floating paddle, backpack carry bag, high-pressure handpump, coiled ankle leash, waterproof bag for phone and other smaller items, and a repair kit (+ likely a user guide/manual). These are pretty meh quality, this is where corners are cut.

Paddle
There is an adjustable 3-piece aluminium floating paddle included in this FunWater 10’6 iSUP package. It can be broken up into 3 pieces for easier storing. Backpack
The FunWater 10’6 Tiki Cruiser iSUP package includes carry backpack that fits the entire package, together with even the board itself once deflated and rolled up. The seams are not of super high quality, so I wouldn’t recommend taking it to hiking for example, but otherwise it’s decent enough for general use. The entire thing (with all things inside) weighs around 25 pounds only.

Pump
You get a high-pressure double-action handpump with a pressure gauge on top in the same package together with the SUP board. It will be a little difficult to reach 15 PSI, but it’s no impossible task. However, since these accessory items are relatively cheaply made, make sure you insert and remove the hose from the valve carefully! If you snap a few parts then it won’t hold in place by itself and you either need somebody to hold it in place or buy a new iSUP pump entirely (they’re pretty cheap, even decent ones).

Leash
A coil leash is included in the package. It’s essentially an ankle leash that attaches you to the board from the D-ring at the rear of the board. Leash is a leash in most cases and quality here doesn’t matter too much.

Waterproof phone case
This waterproof phone case will keep your sensitive smartphone dry. You may want to test if it does what it’s supposed to do before actually putting it into use out on the water for real. Most iSUP packages tend to include this thing nowadays.

Removable fins (3)
